I only picked this up a week ago, but after using it daily around the house: wow. This is hands-down the tool I never knew I desperately needed!
First off, both scrubbers in the kit are fully waterproof. You can literally submerge the head underwater to scrub pool walls—and according to the reviews, a ton of people buy it specifically for that. The real game-changer for me, though, is the telescopic handle. It lets you clean tight spots without bending over and wrecking your back. YES, PLEASE.
I don't own a pool, but I've been using it on bathtubs, sinks, tile floors, behind toilets, and along that bottom porcelain seam on the bathroom floor where dust and grime love to hide. And before anyone asks: YES, I swap out brush heads between the toilets and the sinks! Come on now!
It doesn't just save your back; it outputs a level of rotational scrubbing force you simply can't match by hand. Best of all? My kids actually fight over who gets to use it. They treat it like a video game, and it lets them clean just as effectively as an adult.
I believe in this thing so much that I'm sharing it completely unsponsored—no affiliate link, no kickback. I'm just dropping a direct link to Home Depot so you can check it out yourself. One quick warning on price: I snagged this combo kit on sale for $100. Do not pay $233 for it! Keep an eye on it, wait for a sale, and let the price drop. At $233, it's a solid tool but a tough sell. At $100? Man, buy two!

If you’re shopping for a smart meat thermometer, look no further—this is the one. It packs two wireless probes and gives you the flexibility to monitor temperatures directly on the base unit or through the phone app.
That said, it won't magically turn you into a master pitmaster overnight; there's a slight learning curve. A lot of competitor thermometers on the market completely dumb down the process. You tap "Chicken," stick the probe in, and the app just alerts you when it's done without you ever learning internal target temps.
This model takes a different approach: it's fully automated, but manual where it counts. You input the target temperature yourself based on how you like your meat done, and the hardware handles the rest—tracking cook time, giving pull alerts, and timing the rest phase. It forces you to actually learn ideal internal temps, which makes you a better, more confident griller in the long run. Those handheld hand-holding gadgets won't do that. Just saying.

After a total fiasco with the Shark Vertex vacuum, I swore off the brand entirely—I wanted absolutely nothing to do with Shark ever again. But at the time, my family was dropping a crazy amount of money every week taking trips to Dairy Queen. It was a fun outing, but it was getting expensive and unhealthy. I needed a way to control our ingredients, whip up healthier alternatives on demand, and still get that rich, creamy soft-serve texture.
As much as I wanted to hate this machine out of spite, I fell in love with it. It’s saved us a fortune, given us complete control over what goes into our dessert, and every single recipe I’ve thrown at it has turned out fantastic. In fact, it blew my family away so much that my nephew explicitly asked for one as a wedding gift after trying a batch!

This mini blower has been an absolute lifesaver around the shop and desk. I’ve relied on a heavy-duty 120V corded electric duster since 2014, and while that unit is a beast, it’s bulky, heavy, and tethers you to a wall outlet. This cordless alternative packs surprisingly similar blowing power into a fraction of the size. It handles practically every job my main duster can, with the massive advantage of being lightweight and completely portable. I catch myself reaching for it almost daily, and if it ever dies on me, I’m buying a replacement immediately. That’s how essential it’s become to my daily routine.

This stationery electric dustbin is one of those gadgets I bought fully expecting to fail miserably on camera. But honestly? It actually held its own. At first, I thought the whole concept was completely stupid. With a standard hand dustpan, the workflow is simple: see dirt, sweep dirt into the pan, done. Adding a motor seemed to complicate things—why sweep a pile of dirt across the room just to feed it to a box?
Then I tried pairing it with a push broom, and it completely clicked. Instead of carrying a dustpan around, you just sweep through the room, push the pile right up to the sensor, and the vacuum automatically kicks on to suck it up. Using it as a station for a push broom completely changes the game—it’s ridiculously effective. Plus, it's a huge hit with the kids! Getting them to sweep dust into a thin plastic dustpan without leaving a line behind is like rocket science, but pushing dirt toward an automatic suction intake? They love it.
My only real gripe is portability. I originally assumed it had an internal rechargeable battery so you could take it anywhere in the house or garage. Turns out it requires a direct 120V wall outlet to function. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely limits where you can place it.

This tool is decent, and I can definitely see the appeal. To be completely real with you, I haven't personally run into a job site scenario where I needed a laser distance meter, a manual tape measure, and a leveler all in the exact same minute. That situation definitely comes up for people, but it hasn't hit me yet. When it finally does, though, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be stoked to have this sitting in my toolbag.
I bought this with my own cash and ran it through a full suite of tests on the channel. While it performs the features printed on the box, I wouldn't say it does all of them exceptionally well. The physical tape blade is slow to retract and frustrating to control one-handed—it constantly buckles under its own weight when extended. On top of that, despite having a digital screen, it forces you to cycle through units one by one instead of displaying inches, centimeters, and meters simultaneously on one display.
Even with those design flaws, for a multi-use tool under real-world conditions, it still earns a solid pass from me.

Yo! This budget mic is absolute fire! For my main YouTube videos, I run the legendary Shure SM7B—an extraordinary microphone by any standard. But when my wife and I decided to start a podcast, dropping another $400+ on a second SM7B just didn't make sense for a brand-new passion project. So I did my homework. Multiple independent, non-sponsored reviewers pointed to this Fifine mic as the absolute king of budget audio. And honestly? They weren't lying—this thing sounds incredible for the price.
Out of the box, the SM7B sounds rich with zero processing. The Fifine sounds good right away, but if you want that high-end Broadcast warmth, you'll need to tweak the EQ to unlock its full potential. Once you dial it in, though, you'll be blown away.
One major caveat: I'm speaking strictly about using this mic over XLR through an audio interface, not USB-C or AUX. If you plug it in via USB directly to your PC, you unlock on-board features like the physical gain knobs and built-in RGB lighting, but running it through XLR bypasses all of that internal processing. (Though if you really want those LEDs on XLR, you can probably just run a USB cable to a wall block for power!)

This review is going to be a bit of a wild ride. I was an early Kickstarter backer for the UGREEN DXP4800 Plus, snagging it for just over $400—an absolute steal for the hardware specs. Every tech YouTuber out there was showering it with glowing praise (which was before I realized UGREEN had backed a massive paid sponsorship campaign). Still, when it arrived, I was hyped. I threw in my drives, set up a RAID 5 array, and started using it as my primary storage server for raw YouTube footage.
Then, the inevitable happened: a hard drive died. I didn't panic—that’s literally why we run RAID! I popped in a fresh replacement drive, went to rebuild the array, and... total breakdown. The volume unmounted itself and flat-out refused to remount. Every official guide insisted there should be a manual "Mount" button in the storage manager, but it simply wasn't there. I opened a ticket with UGREEN support. Not only did responses take 24 hours at a time, but they immediately started blaming me for the failure, claiming I changed some obscure setting. I fired back with screenshots proving I hadn't touched anything. But honestly, even if I had, a modern NAS UI shouldn't crumble and lock you out of your data because of a setting toggle!
After weeks of back-and-forth customer service hell, I pulled the drives, threw them into a 4-bay USB enclosure, and used Disk Drill to rebuild the array manually. I got most of my data back, but it was an unorganized nightmare. The recovery process dumped over 50,000 files into a single directory, mixing tiny 1KB metadata files in with full video clips. Searching through it caused Windows Explorer to lock up completely. After spending five hours to find one clip, I gave up on Windows and wrote a custom PowerShell script to scan the folder and extract only files larger than 1GB to a secondary drive. It wasn't pretty, but it saved my footage.
As for the DXP4800 Plus itself? I almost threw the entire unit in the dumpster. Instead, I wiped UGREEN's awful factory OS off the DOM unit and flashed TrueNAS—an OS I've been running on custom server builds for years. Fast forward two years: this hardware running TrueNAS has been absolute rock solid. I'm currently self-hosting Nextcloud, Anything LLM, Hermes, OpenClaw, Nextcloud Talk, RomM, Jellyfin, NGINX, and Pi-hole without a hitch. I even suffered another drive failure recently, and TrueNAS rebuilt the pool seamlessly like a real NAS is supposed to do.
Sure, custom OS installs on proprietary hardware come with quirks—like the front panel LEDs going wild—but the community solved that with a quick GitHub script. I even used Hermes to write a custom automation script: now whenever I insert an SD card into the front slot, it automatically ingests and sorts my camera footage to the exact network share I want. The hardware engine inside the DXP4800 Plus is fantastic; you just have to kill their software to unleash it.

This is a tough product to recommend simply because most people will look at the $700 price tag and say that’s way too much for a litter box. Honestly? I used to say the exact same thing about the Litter-Robot 4. But after endlessly trying to fix a god-awful litter box smell, I realized it was a battle I couldn't win without spending real cash. The Litter-Robot's design felt way more practical than all the other automated options on the market, so I figured it had the best shot at fixing the issue. And I needed a fix—it was literally affecting my health. I was waking up every single morning with headaches from the overwhelming stench of cat urine. So I bit the bullet and bought it. You know what? The smell vanished, the headaches disappeared, and even my cat’s health improved. Who would’ve thought! Still, $700 is a tough pill to swallow—even if it actually works.

I got sick and tired of cheap power banks failing on me because of low-quality internal batteries—yet I relied on them heavily whenever I was shooting out in the field. Sure, I carry enough spare camera batteries for a few hours, but every extra drop of juice I can squeeze out of my setup guarantees a successful shoot. Enter the Ridgid power inverter. This little gadget lets me tap into the stack of Ridgid power tool batteries I already own to run my camera gear. The results? Mind-blowing. A single battery powered my ZV-E10 for 10 straight hours of continuous recording. THAT'S INSANE. Pack two 4Ah batteries and you're good for 20 hours! The sky is the limit with this hack—no overpriced power banks, no bulky power stations, and it's small enough to drop right into your camera bag. With this, ALL YOU DO IS WIN!

There’s no way a $150 thermal camera can actually be good... right? I bought one off Temu for $130, and it was total trash. But Topdon is a brand I've grown to trust over the years—I own a bunch of their gear. Sure enough, this thermal imager proves exactly why. It turned out to be just what I needed for my YouTube setup whenever I need to show heat distribution on camera. To be fair, you can't record video, and while it lets you snap photos, there’s no option to export them off the device. But if you don't strictly need those features, this thing delivers. It's precise enough to pick up the residual heat footprints I leave behind—something that Temu imager couldn't dream of doing.

This charger solved a problem I didn't even know I had. Picture this: instead of relying on a standard block that charges two or three small tech items, imagine a beefy charger that handles four small devices plus a laptop—or even two laptops and two small items simultaneously. YES PLEASE. It completely clears the clutter off your desk and makes your setup way more efficient. As a matter of fact, it changed my perspective on charging stations so much that I bought the Ugreen 200W desktop charger to replace my laptop charger when I'm out and about. The result? A power brick roughly the same size as my original Apple block, but infinitely more capable. Sure, it's a bit pricey up front, but when you look at what a factory replacement charger for a MacBook Pro costs, buying the Ugreen instead is a no-brainer.

As a solo content creator, I've spent the last 10 years looking for a cheap, automated cameraman. And after a decade, DJI—one of my go-to brands for action cameras, gimbals, and drones—finally released my exact vision in drone form. Is it perfect? Of course not. You have to get creative with audio by recording it separately and using your editor of choice to strip out the prop noise. But if you don't need sound? Even better—the Neo makes an incredible B-roll camera. I'm constantly finding excuses to pull it out. The video quality is solid, tracking locks onto me reliably every single time, and using it with zero remote controls is completely effortless. Battery life is a different story, but you can always grab a few extras. Even with the added cost of spare batteries, it still beats paying for a real cameraman!

Look, I'm not going to sit here and pretend this is a hands-down recommendation. I see a few real issues with it: it's expensive, it targets a super specific niche, and it can be legitimately dangerous if used wrong. What it actually does is let you hook up a streaming stick or game console directly to your Apple CarPlay system. (Quick head-up: if your car doesn't already have Apple CarPlay, THIS WILL NOT WORK.) If you spend a ton of time hanging out in your vehicle WHILE PARKED, it's pretty cool to throw TV shows or games onto your main screen. But there are zero built-in safety features to stop you from using it while driving, and let’s be honest—plenty of idiots will try. On the plus side, it also converts your wired setup so you can use CarPlay wirelessly without plugging your phone in. Used responsibly, it's a clutch way to kill time in a PARKED car. Used recklessly, it might be the last thing you ever buy.

For years, I’ve blown money on multiple scent devices just to make my entire house smell uniform. The devices themselves were pretty cheap—from wax and oil warmers in the 2010s, to auto scent sprayers, to classic plug-in air fresheners. All of them worked to some degree, but maintaining the scent is actually way more expensive than people realize. (Then again, not everyone is a psycho like me, calculating their annual cost for scent replacements.) In comes the AROMADD, bringing not just a true whole-house fragrance solution, but a much more affordable path to get there. It connects directly to your HVAC system, which is HIGHLY effective at dispersing the waterless oil scent. Best of all? A single $50 bottle can last up to a year depending on your schedule. Talk about a MONEY SAVER! Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the big air-freshener brands paid top dollar to keep devices like this from taking off.

When Levoit reached out to me to review their smart air purifier, I said sure—with the condition that my reviews can’t be bought. Nonetheless, from the moment I turned on the Eleva, it transformed my studio into an allergy-free zone. Big whoop, I thought. But then I started noticing just how smart this thing actually was. Whether cooking started in the kitchen, someone walked back in after a smoke break, or the outdoor air quality took a sudden dive—it just knew. Sure, I'm bummed that Home Assistant support is locked to basic commands like power on/off, but for a set-it-and-forget-it device that reliably runs in the background? YES PLEASE.
