AutoSky CarPlay TV Adapter

Monster Review tested this car tech product and rated it Good.

Look, I'm not going to sit here and pretend this is a hands-down recommendation. I see a few real issues with it: it's expensive, it targets a super specific niche, and it can be legitimately dangerous if used wrong. What it actually does is let you hook up a streaming stick or game console directly to your Apple CarPlay system. (Quick head-up: if your car doesn't already have Apple CarPlay, THIS WILL NOT WORK.) If you spend a ton of time hanging out in your vehicle WHILE PARKED, it's pretty cool to throw TV shows or games onto your main screen. But there are zero built-in safety features to stop you from using it while driving, and let’s be honest—plenty of idiots will try. On the plus side, it also converts your wired setup so you can use CarPlay wirelessly without plugging your phone in. Used responsibly, it's a clutch way to kill time in a PARKED car. Used recklessly, it might be the last thing you ever buy.
