This stationery electric dustbin is one of those gadgets I bought fully expecting to fail miserably on camera. But honestly? It actually held its own. At first, I thought the whole concept was completely stupid. With a standard hand dustpan, the workflow is simple: see dirt, sweep dirt into the pan, done. Adding a motor seemed to complicate things—why sweep a pile of dirt across the room just to feed it to a box? Then I tried pairing it with a push broom, and it completely clicked. Instead of carrying a dustpan around, you just sweep through the room, push the pile right up to the sensor, and the vacuum automatically kicks on to suck it up. Using it as a station for a push broom completely changes the game—it’s ridiculously effective. Plus, it's a huge hit with the kids! Getting them to sweep dust into a thin plastic dustpan without leaving a line behind is like rocket science, but pushing dirt toward an automatic suction intake? They love it. My only real gripe is portability. I originally assumed it had an internal rechargeable battery so you could take it anywhere in the house or garage. Turns out it requires a direct 120V wall outlet to function. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely limits where you can place it.
